Lively and colorful community with a peaceful oceanfront location

Seaside shines off the Emerald Coast as an authentic and quaint city by the beach. This community is no stranger to attention after gaining popularity for its role as the set during the filming of The Truman Show. This tiny town is a neighbor of Santa Rosa Beach in South Walton and is brimming with culture and style unlike any other. Building walls with murals is common, and outdoor galleries line its green spaces. White picket fencing decoratively lines the revival of history and tradition in this area. Cottages and buildings have been revamped and preserved to retain the original feel of this close-knit community.

Beautification efforts bring color and warmth to popular downtown events. Pavilions and towers guide the way to beachfront properties, revealing the iconic new urbanism of the community. Flower baskets atop lantern-style lights add a bright accent to this development, along with the starfish lighting strategically placed on the streets.
